In accordance with our Fraud, Waste, and Abuse policy all changes made to pre-planned routes (pick-up locations & drop-off locations) must be approved by either the passenger's health plan or CareCar's Coordination and Support Team (844.743.4344). Drivers will not be compensated for making unapproved unscheduled stops or transporting passengers to unapproved unscheduled locations.
However, it is common for passengers to require stops to unscheduled and approved locations such as pharmacies. In situations such as these, you need only contact our coordinators at 844.743.4344 for such approval in order to be compensated for these unscheduled stop and destination changes.
While drivers will not be compensated for unscheduled stops without approval, they may at their discretion make unscheduled stops in order to provide a better customer experience.
Note: Drivers may not seek compensation from passengers for any reason including unscheduled stops.
